IGTC participates in International Grains Council (IGC) meetings

On 22 January IGTC provided an update (here) for the IGC's 52nd Council session. The IGTC's briefing highlighted 2021 priorities including the need to avoid trade disruptions to support global food security; the re-launch of the regularised IGTC Round Tables; and the 2021 meeting of the international Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM).

On 21 January IGTC likewise supported an IGC seminar on digitalization that welcomed speakers including national governments (Algeria, Brazil, Canada, France, Russian Federation and Spain), international organizations (Standards and Trade Development Facility – STDF, International Plant Protection Convention – IPPC, Eurasian Economic Commission - EEC), and the private sector (IGTC, US Grains Council, Covantis, Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board - AHDB, Cefetra Iberica).
