London Grains Week a huge success for IGTC

London Grains Week took place from 10-15 June 2019 and was supported by the International Grain Trade Coalition (IGTC), the International Grains Council (IGC), the Grain and feed trade association (Gafta) and the UK Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).

IGTC kicked off the week on Monday 10 June, with a Strategy Session that looked at six key policy files (covering production technology, trade technology, and phytosanitary measures), bringing together 32 global grain trade leaders from around the world.

Later in the week there was the International Grains Council (IGC - www.igc.int) annual conference, of which IGTC was one of the official sponsors. The conference welcomed in excess of 350 delegates, including a balance of industry and government representatives, as well as international organizations.

A specific IGTC workshop took place on the second day of the conference and included the signature of the outcomes document of the World Grain Trade Forum of 27 November by Gary C. Martin, IGTC President and Ren Zhi, CNAGS Vice President (pictured).
