IGTC President Gary C. Martin participated in a number of successful meetings in China earlier this month, with the aim of promoting IGTC engagement to facilitate global trade of grains, oilseeds and other agri-bulks for food, feed, and processing in the context of China’s value chain. 

In particular there was fruitful engagement with IGTC Corporate Stakeholder COFCO and member CNAGS regarding participation and support for the Coalition. Closing out the week, Gary hosted a ‘China Grain and Oilseed Reception’ on Friday with grain trade and government colleagues from China and other countries around the world. Overall, the mission represented a significant step in forwarding the IGTC’s global outreach via improved balance in geographical participation and increased leadership on key files.
