The grain trading sector has been speaking to a global audience again, this time at the World Customs Organisation in Brussels, where the IGTC had the chance to bang the drum on the need to improve the trade of grain worldwide, as well as promote the reach of the IGTC's global network. The 29 February meeting saw over 40 government representatives gather to discuss the implementation of the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement. A special session on the importance of stakeholder involvement was held, with a strong focus on the private sector. The IGTC used the opportunity to speak on the Plenary floor, raising awareness of the Coalition’s agenda.
