On Aug. 11 and 12, the IGTC, in cooperation with COFCO and the CNFA organized a meeting in Beijing, China to discuss China’s new grain law. Close to 90 participants heard presentations from the side of the China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision,

Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and from the side of industry. It was a good working meeting in which IGTC together with key members were able to show great concerns over AQSIQ's draft measures, IGTC and its members had an opportunity to ask questions and got many of the questions answered by AQSIQ.
