March update: International Grains Council (IGC) Market Conditions Committee

The IGTC President Gary C. Martin was in London last week to represent the Coalition at the March 2018 Market Conditions Committee of the International Grains Council (IGC).

The IGC is a government-to-government organization of 55 member governments with trade facilitation at the core of its mandate. The twice-yearly IGC Market Conditions Committee (MCC) meetings provide an opportunity for governments to update each other on market and trade forecasts, as well as policy developments.

The IGC's annual conference (2018 dates: 19-20 June) brings together hundreds of government representatives and industry stakeholders from around the world.

The IGTC President provided an update on IGTC current opportunities and priorities for government representatives at last week's MCC meeting. An IGTC briefing paper was circulated prior to the meeting, it can be read here
