This week more than 50 international grain trade representatives will gather in Brazil to take part in the IGTC's annual General Assembly and associated events. The programme, organised in partnership with the Associação Nacional dos Exportadores de Cereais (ANEC), includes:

• A "field visit" to Brazil's most significant port facilities at Santos
• A "São Paulo Grains Forum" hosted at the Headquarters of Embrapa Territorial to discuss the latest issues facing the international grain trade
• The IGTC's annual General Assembly
