IGTC member China National Association of Grain Sector (CNAGS) has released a statement (here) on the "Significance of Plant Breeding Innovation to Chinese Grain Industry". The statement highlights the role of innovation in improving plant varieties to  potentially   increase   yields   and withstand disease and the effects of climate change.
