Global Grain, Food and Feed (G2F2), New Delhi, India

Katy Lee, IGTC Secretariat, and Emily French, ConsiliAgra

IGTC took the stage yesterday, Thursday, at the G2F2 conference in Delhi, which attracts around 1000 delegates annually. The IGTC’s aim was to raise awareness of its activities and relevance to Indian grain trade stakeholders and partners. As the Indian government aims to implement actions on e-phyto certificates in the coming months, there was interest in the IGTC’s work in this area, as well as the broader efforts on electronic trading documentation and phytosanitary control. The conference was under the patronage of one of the IGTC’s member associations in India: the Solvent Extractors’ Association (SEA), whose President and CEO, Atul Chaturvedi, and Executive Director, Dr. B. V. Mehta, gave a warm welcome to the IGTC. Agricultural productivity and the potential for new market dynamics were key themes. Website here.
